Sucks You In... Get your tissues!!

Jeanne McDonald has a true way with words. Her details of the characters and their thoughts and feelings make you feel as if you are right there with them. There wasn't a moment where I regretted this purchase or skimmed on to see "what's next" out of boredom. As much as I didn't want to cry - I did ... but it couldn't be helped! Jeanne eloquently brings raw emotion to the story, taking the reader back to that heart breaking day in September 2001. The reader finds themself in the midst of the dust and ash praying right along with Micah that he will find his Sunshine... his Ray of Hope.

Tissue alert to all... I kid you not when I say that you will not have a dry eye by the end.
A true page turner, I couldn't put it down once I started it... Trust me - this book is worth every penny!

Heart warming.

You will need a box of Kleenex while reading this novella. I bawled like a baby during a few parts. But it is more than worth it! Author Jeanne McDonald takes us on a beautiful love story starting the morning of September 11, 2001. I absolutely adored this story and everything about it. Her main character Micah won my heart.

Micah Cooper a New York City EMT who lives for the action that happens during the late night hours. For Micah as long as he has his sunshine his heart and soul, Hope Cooper anything is possible. The chaos fuels him during the night and his Sunshine calms in during the day. Micah and Sunny live the love story everyone dreams about. They are it for each other.

Hope Cooper "Sunny" just happens to work in the South World Trade Center. She text Micah when something happens at the north tower. My heart absolutely crumbled when Micah realizes Sunny's tower was struck by a plane as well. Micah's entire world spins out of control. Watching Micah process that his wife needs him and he cannot get to her was heart wrenching.

This man will move through hell and high water to find his wife in the fallen rubble. He keeps sane by saving one person at a time and not giving up hope. The way Micah processes everything and fights with anyone who does not believe he will find his wife made my heart swell and tears roll down my cheeks.

I just loved him so much!

This story is very fast paced and keeps you right there with Micah as he searches for his wife. I hope you will all give this story a chance. You won't be disappointed.

I love this book. I don't remember the last book I actually read, but I couldn't put this one down. Just couldn't wait to find out what the outcome would be. Awesome work Jeanne McDonald, looking forward to reading more of your work :)

Learn How To Step Outside-Of-The-Box And Build A Business You're Proud Of

I first met Daniel in 2012 through one of his hustles, an interview series I believe, and I was particularly impressed with his expertise in marketing, realistic, compassionate attitude and willingness to collaborate and support others. These were also the three themes that stood out the most to me when I read his book and they’ll be useful to you as well on your path to entrepreneurship. Here’s a little more on each of the three themes Daniel addresses:

1) Expertise in marketing: A skill any business owner in any industry can use, Daniel breaks down how out-of-the-box thinking will get you further in your career more quickly. There’s a mix of both major marketing strategies to really move the needle, as well as day-to-day promotion tactics to help with your ongoing growth.

2) Realistic, compassionate attitude: To me, Daniel is known for his no-bullshit approach to business and life, which is refreshing and motivating as you read through his journey and learn from his advice. He acts as a cheerleader for your business while giving you real information that isn’t sugarcoated. For example, not worrying about setting up a business checking account the first week you start your company as it really only makes you feel accomplished and strokes your ego taking time away from more important activities.

3) Willingness to collaborate and support others: One of my favorite things about Daniel’s approach to his book and business is the fact he built his company off of relationships and grit while doing the same thing for other entrepreneurs in need of his guidance. The insights included from other entrepreneurs throughout the book are extremely useful for providing a variety of actionable perspectives on the primary issues we all face as professionals trying to make it work.

Throughout this book, Daniel chronicles his years of experience as a marketer and entrepreneur giving you the tips, tricks and strategies that have made him such a success. Most of all, he helps readers shift their mindset to not necessarily copy his exact tactics, but use his experience to fuel their own journey as their own future boss. I can’t recommend Daniel’s book enough.

I love reading and how it cuts down your learning curve. There are so many breakthroughs in this book.

About the Author
Nicole Radziwill is an Associate Professor in the Department of Integrated Science and Technology at James Madison University (JMU), where she has been on the faculty since 2009. Nicole is also a Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), Certified by ASQ as a Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), and an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB). She served as a national Examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) in 2009 and 2010, and has a PhD in Technology Management and Quality Systems from Indiana State University. She also has an MBA and a BS degree in Meteorology from Penn State. Nicole was recognized by Quality Progress in 2011 as one of the 40 New Voices of Quality, and serves as one of ASQ’s Influential Voices bloggers.

This book is great! Appendix F is my favorite. It shows which statistical tests in your toolbox you should use based on the type of data and the comparison you are performing in your work. You will use the right test in your work, but perhaps more fun, you will be prepared to call out the bogus paper which uses a t-test on non-normal data. Nice use of graphics to understand the math (and even Wolfram Alpha in a few places!).

Not The Easier Way... the EASIEST Way!!!

WOW! This book has really helped me understand R, in an easier way. I love how the book is structured like a conversation. The text anticipates what I struggle with and has the answer to what I am thinking in the next line. I also really appreciate how it explains the “behind the scenes” of R and helps you understand the formulas that are being calculated. For beginners and experts alike, I highly recommend this book to get you on track to learning the powers of R.

This book is excellent. It does what so many texts on statistics or R fail to do: provide an welcoming path for learning the subject. It's written with down-to-earth language, humor, and an excellent notion of how to engage her audience. Nicole guides you through various topics in practical statistical methods and how to program in R so that it's actually enjoyable instead of making it a fairly painful process like so many others do. Highly recommended.

Real story telling and charming protagonists

I absolutely loved this book. Great character evolution/development. It's so great to read believable characters and interactions. Also refreshing was the portrayal of a healthy naturally evolving relationship between the two main protagonists even when they were struggling through their own personal demons. This book just proves you don't need crazy theatrics and unrealistic scenarios to make a fantastic story. A huge thank you to the author for getting it right and making a story feel real. You teased your audience when you needed and didn't go for the cheap and easy dramatics in your characters challenging moments to try and ratchet up you reader's emotions. It just made this story and it's players much more genuine in my opinion.

What a Great Book!!!

Zoe Reed is an outstanding writer that can truly weave a tale and leave the reader wanting more. The story and characters developed smoothly with great depth and without the rush that is often felt with some writers. The characters were so believable that I found myself caught up in the emotions and storyline. I was so invested in this book that I was laughing angry and tearing up along with the characters. I couldn’t put the book down.

I highly recommend this book and if you like a bit of paranormal you need to check out Zoe’s other books. I cannot wait for her next novel to come out!!!

This book is so beautifully written. The character development between Jordan and Taylor was superb; the awkward friendship into the wonderfully pure relationship as well as the girls as separate people dealing with their own personal issues. I also loved the supporting cast. They were multi-faceted characters rather than being one dimensional fillers. Everything about this book drew me in- from the drama and the action to the intensity of emotion from the characters I grew to love. I couldn't stop reading and when I finished it, I was tempted to start re-reading it. I definitely recommend this book!
